FOX FINALIZES TUESDAY, THURSDAY LINEUPS

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has finalized its Tuesday and Thursday lineups for the rest of the season.
Said moves, which were confirmed to the site this afternoon, comes as the network prepares for the start of the February sweeps period next week.
Among the Tuesday additions: a second post-"American Idol" showcase for "Past Life" on February 16; a repeat of "Glee" on March 9; and extra two-hour "Idols" on March 23, March 30 and April 6. Thursdays, as previously announced, will see "Bones" and "Fringe" each take a seven-week hiatus from originals following their "winter finales" on February 4.

As American Idol will be two hours on Tuesdays over several weeks until the return of Glee in April, this will create a scheduling conflict for "Lost" on CTV.
The show is already off CTV starting February 16 and 23 due to the Winter Olympics, so it temporarily moves to /A\ for those two weeks. Since Idol runs two hours again on March 2 and for four additional weeks from March 16 to April 6, CTV would have to either air "Lost" in pre or post-release (except on March 9 when it can air in the usual timeslot). There is also the possibility that it could remain on /A\ to avoid too many changes between then and April 13 once Idol finally gets shortened to an hour. But I think given how much CTV has promoted the final season of Lost, I think they will settle to have it out of simulcast for a few weeks, instead of moving it to /A\ (except during the Olympics).
Meanwhile on Thursdays, American Idol will get an airing on /A\ for only one week on February 25 and Past Life simply fills the timeslot belonging to Fringe. The only exception is that during the Olympics, Past Life will run in post-release on Fridays to make room for Grey's Anatomy which moves over from CTV.
